The versatility of CEOSim allows for the implementation of customized simulations, featuring access to data from the Financial Market Commission (CMF) and national economic databases since 2014. CEOSim presents a diversified market with the ability to incorporate new dynamics every semester. A distinctive aspect is that each market offers two types of simulations: Optimal and Cautious. The former simulates a company in a favorable financial and market environment, while the latter presents a challenging scenario that requires more advanced analysis and decision-making.
Is CEOSim limited only to universities?
CEOSim is versatile and can be implemented not only in universities but also in Technical Training Centers (CFT), Professional Institutes (IP), and even in Technical Professional High Schools. Currently, the Universidad Católica de Temuco successfully uses it in an outreach activity with TP high schools in the macro southern region of Chile, called 'Management Control Game,' involving over 70 students from various educational institutions. This adaptability demonstrates that the software adjusts to different levels of difficulty and academic programs.
What is the fundamental role of artificial intelligence in CEOSim?
Artificial intelligence (AI) plays a fundamental role in CEOSim through machine learning models. These advanced models allow for forecasting a company's (team's) growth and setting new objectives based on its current classification, something that was challenging in previous versions without the support of this technology. Additionally, AI facilitates greater interaction between teams, enabling the simulation of competitive scenarios in real time. The implementation of this technology, through an AI integration program from IdeaUFRO at the Universidad de La Frontera, has further strengthened the capabilities of CEOSim.
